My illustrative work is always inspired by children and art therapy. As a former primary school art-teacher in the Parcival School, a Steiner School for Special Education in Belgium, my focus has always been children and providing education through my illustrative anthroposophical picturebooks. ​

​I am inspired by nature, stories and fairy tales, legends, seasonal and annual festivals. I look for clues within images, which opens up a new world of interconnected possibilities for me to express and create.  The connection between inner and outer image becomes visible. 

As a professional teacher and as an art therapist, I am committed to the importance of education.
